an interesting project with far reaching implications in understanding views of community by neighborhoods inhabitants.

  • Jamie

The amount of thought, preparation and the level of commitment on this project is very admirable. Great Job!

I'm pretty sure that's the correct number -- the only reason I remember is that it's one off from our area code. I gave my bus away months after I found it, not knowing it was part of this project. Our department had international artists visiting with their toddler daughter. The little girl loved buses and would always say "autobus!" around the building. I took the marker into work and gave it to her. If they kept it, it's probably somewhere in Israel right now.

I was wondering awhile what this was for and had a pretty hilarious experience when I first found this weird block.

  • Jamie

The amount of though, effort and commitment to this project is inspiring. Very nicely done!

  • Michael

My bus is a smooth ride.

I LOVE seeing the buses around town! I've personally found a couple (I'm looking at one now!) and the best are the ones really high up. The folks behind the bus project must be nimble climbers. :)

  • Weston

    I dig it.

I work at the Conservatory and was changing the signage when I found it. I thought it was something from a field trip group or a geocaching thing and took it because I thought it was neat (I did feel a bit guilty and wondered who might be missing it) Then I saw the article in 614. Now I keep it at my desk. There is an ad in the magazine for the Conservatory on the next page after the story, thought that was pretty neat placement.

My boyfriend and I were walking north up high street when he looked up by a tree, and wedged in between a cord and an electrical pole, was a light purple bus. Having found one once before, it became a mission to get it (it was up really high). I got on his shoulders, and my arms still couldn't reach it. I got down, found a board leaning against the building next door. I Got back up on Wes's shoulders & he handed me the board, & i unwedged the bus. I hopped down, and across the street at the Northstar Cafe, many a pondering people were looking at us questionably. Too funny! Thanks for the fun :)

I have joint custody of this bus with Tim Friar - I spotted it and he retrieved it with a ladder.

I've had the bus for about a year now and have been completely puzzled. But after picking up this month's (614) and flipping to the 'Gallery Space' as i do every month i couldnt believe it. This is really great. W.E. Arnold W.E. Arnold -Photography

Read about this project in 614 magazine and thought it'd be cool if I happened to run across one of these cool little things! Last week my girlfriend found one when we were walking down high street and before I could get jealous, I found my own a couple of minutes after she found her's! Cute stuff. :)

  • James

Just ask anyone, I love our local artists and crafters and try to support all of them. I help pitch in and volunteer whenever possible. On the day I found my piece I was out promoting Craftin' Outlaws , hanging postcards at community boards in the area.

  • Doug

It took me a few minutes to jump up and get it. At first I was waiting for the crowds to clear, but then I didn't care who saw me. :)

  • Kyle & Christine

We will re-hide the bus somewhere in a Columbus neighborhood.

  • Nick

    My third bus.
